Job details:
- Hours are 8am – 5pm approximately
- Pay: $165,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Travel a handful of times per year

Job duties:
The Total Rewards (HR) Director will develop and lead initiatives across compensation and benefits, payroll, and HR compliance. This associate is responsible for ensuring competitiveness while maintaining cost efficiency, associate engagement, and aligning with our client's long-term strategy.
- Lead a team across compensation, benefits, payroll, and HR compliance to drive business performance, as well as comply with legal requirements
- Drive continuous improvement through the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and total rewards initiatives to attract and retain talent
- Propose and implement process and technology efficiencies to ensure highly accurate, compliant, and efficient HR practices
- Design, analyze, and manage reporting initiatives to review financial metrics aligning with budget, evaluate current processes, and opportunities to improve
- Promote the development of company policy that aligns with the organizational culture and strategic imperatives
- Act as a brand ambassador for our client by leading projects to enhance our footprint and impact across our associates and the communities we serve
- Lead our associates in a way that exemplifies the leadership principles taught in Thrive and reinforces Thrive skills with managers reporting to you
Skills needed:
- At least 10 years of in HR with an emphasis on benefits and compensation or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience with multi-unit and multi-state compensation programs, payroll law and benefits
- Strong computer skills; HRIS implementation strategy
- Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire on-boarding process remotely
- Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.
- Knowledge of federal and state wage and salary laws and regulations.
- Background in:
- Actuary
- Compensation analyzing
- Benefits for multi-state/multi-unit (banking, manufacturing, grocery stores)
