What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist position at Kelly?

Kelly Services in partnership with our Pittsburgh, PA customer are looking for an HR Generalist for a partially remote six month assignment.

This position provides comprehensive HR transactional services to employees, managers, and fellow HR Colleagues across North America. HR Advisors are required to have a broad scope of basic knowledge that could range from onboarding, HR data & workforce administration, payroll & timekeeping support, policy support, and offboarding. Advisors are tasked with providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the timeliness, accuracy & adherence to the defined processes. Identifying and escalating areas of process improvement are important for continued streamlining of processes.

Responsibilities:

Develop a comprehensive understanding of all HR Shared Services operations, processes, and systems.

Execute defined processes which incorporate Data Privacy requirements and SOX related controls as it relates to employee data.

Answer questions and provide guidance on all basic and standardized HR services through phone contact with employees.

Ensure timely and correct response for all employee's inquiries, complaints and requests and provide accurate consistent recordkeeping and maintenance of HR records.

Onboarding and offboarding while escalating any issues within the onboarding process as they are encountered. Provide suggestions on how to correct or further streamline the process.

Ensure accuracy of employee data, paperwork and files throughout employment while completing regulatory paperwork such as employment verification, unemployment, medical support orders, etc.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor’s Degree with focus in HR or Business-related field is a plus.

2 years of previous experience in HR or related experience/education.

Must have a strong customer service approach, not afraid to learn new systems and is comfortable with some administrative tasks.

This position will be partially remote, but will need to report to the office if needed. This is a six month temporary position. The pay is between $20 - $23/hr. Apply today for immediate consideration.
