Job Title: Instructional Designer
Location: Irvine, CA
Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-4pm
Pay Rate: $41/hr.
Duration: Temporary role ending May 2023
Purpose
- Development of educational assets that enable high levels of engagement and retention.
- Work closely with Global Education to bring educational experiences to clinical and sales teams.
- Support new product initiatives and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Global Education team members to understand global and regional learning needs and create compelling course content to achieve educational goals.
- Create supporting materials, such as assessments, presentations, instructor guides, videos, audio, simulations, role plays and games.
- Align with established project and management processes, instruction design standards and processes, and corporate brand style and standards, including compliance requirements.
- Develop educationally sound assets that meet the requirements and needs of the Global Education team and cross-functional partners.
Additional Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- At least 1 year experience with Articulate Storyline (must).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team player who does what it takes to help the team succeed.
- At least two years of experience supporting training/education digital systems (LMS).
- Ability to plan and execute to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work in a high-volume role with competing priorities.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and with significant self-direction.
