The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate the day-to-day enrollment process for various Workforce Development Programs. This position is responsible for recruitment, screening, program eligibility, data entry in various database systems, and file maintenance for Workforce Development participants.

What a typical day as Intake and Records Processor might look like:
- Provides support for, and implements record keeping procedures, offer suggestions regarding processes in all related program enrollment and participation activities.
- Records and distributes supportive services items to eligible program participants.
- Responsible for the maintenance of programmatic and participant’s files in accordance with grant, federal, state and local requirements.
- Conducts follow up research on participants who files are incomplete and/or terminate program participation.
- Prepares periodic reports, as needed regarding participants’ activity and program performance outcomes.
- Provides program participants, and the general public with appropriate assistance via telephone contact, email, and personal communications.
- Ability to facilitate enrollment in a variety of formats (group, one-on-one) and locations (off-site).
- Advises participants on the next steps for their desired program pathway.
- May serve as a proctor for assessments.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- High school graduate or equivalence required.
- Three (3) years’ experience in customer service and in an office setting.
- Demonstrated competency in oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate capacity to utilize computers for project management purposes including word processing, spreadsheet construction and database management.
- Must possess good organizational skills and be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated work history of providing high quality, strong customer-centered services including problem solving; strong listening skills, coordination of work effort with team members; conflict resolution; and ability to put participants/customer before self.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work situations that may include evening and weekend work assignments, and local travel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality on all information regarding participants, staff, and managers’ communications and personal information.
- Previous work experience with diverse population, and/or the ability to provide services in a culturally diverse arena.
