Inventory Management Specialist

Kelly Scientific is looking for an Inventory Management Specialist in Madison, WI!
Responsibilities:
- Perform Cycle Counts and Inventory Control activities
- Maintain computerized inventory software to record, track, and control all inventory related data. (SAP, Excel, and Word)
- Analyze sales and inventory records and compares them to physical inventory
- Support Inventory receiving activities for GMP Operations
- Report any inventory discrepancies to department management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all stockrooms
- Enter in orders for new supplies
- Locate and removes expired or obsolete inventory, both physically and in our ERP system
- Work with management to proactive reduce inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate the review and revision of inventory procedures, specifications, and forms
- Retrieve items from pick orders
- Unload deliveries and stores them appropriately in the stockroom
- Physical labor such as lifting and moving heavy boxes of supplies may be required on a regular basis
- Participate in department and company meetings
- Other job functions as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or associate degree with 2 years of related experience
- 2 years' related experience in supply chain or similar department, preferably in a cGMP operating environment, with demonstrated achievements and progressive responsibilities
- Proficient with MS Office suite of products
- Demonstrated proficiency with ERP solutions, knowledge of SAP a plus
- Able to work at computer for extended periods of time
