What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Kelly?
Shift: 8-hr daytime shifts (flexible start time between 7-9am)
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of environmental samples (soil and water samples) according to SOPs
- Prepare and submit accurate analytical reports in a timely manner
- Calibrate and operate analytical instruments to analyze samples correctly and promptly. Will be running IC, GC, GCMS and/or other analytic equipment
- Record and update instruments run logs and maintenance logbook
- Prepare analytical standards and solutions used in the analysis
- Perform MDL, LOD/LOQ studies, and other QC requirements
Job Requirements:
- AS / BS degree in Chemistry or Environmental Science w/ experience in academic labs
- 0-2 years of laboratory experience
