What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech III position at Kelly?
Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking Maintenance Workers to work at Bausch & Lomb in Clearwater, FL.
Objectives:
- Under minimum supervision, the Maintenance Tech III is responsible for the maintenance, calibration, trouble shooting and repair of all Production and other equipment in the facility and for technical support.
Key Activities/ Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Support: Responsible for maintaining all facility and manufacturing process equipment by performing trouble shooting, preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration with minimal down time. Installation, modification, set up and/or qualification of any new or relocated equipment.
- Technical Support: Competently used computers and/or machine interfaces to access, maintain and/or acquire data. Mathematical ability to perform and/or understand the calculations used in qualification and procedures. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical data.
- Project Support: Provide support and suggests areas of potential efficient improvement to reduce operating costs, quality and/or productivity. Generate documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines for medical devices. Assist in the commissioning, installation and decommissioning of equipment and the execution of validation protocols.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Modifies duties associated with the job to meet special requirements. Available for on-call emergencies. Once trained, be a member of the Emergency Response Team. Ensure safety policies are adhered to. Cross-train Production personnel, other Level III and lower technicians in a timely and professional manner. Assist in Machine Shop as needed.
Qualifications/Training:
Associate degree or the equivalent through specialized training required (relevant on the job training or certificate).
Special Skills:
Organizational skills are a must with a high mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital circuits to a component level. Knowledge of controls and control systems to include Programmable Logic Controllers and A/C Inverters. Interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all Departments and levels, to work in teams or independently and communicate effectively.
Minimum 4 years related experience including providing support for manufacturing operations and equipment.
Payrate: $18 - 20 per hour DOE
Hours - 7pm to 7am - rotating shift. 2-2-3,
