Marketing Analyst

KELLY SERVICES IS RECRUITING FOR A MARKETING ANALYST THAT IS A DIRECT-HIRE POSITION FOR A LARGE MANUFACTURING COMPANY IN THE WARREN, PA AREA!! THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION WITH GREAT BENEFITS!!

• Paying $60k-$70k a year depending on experience

• 1st Shift Hours 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

JOB SUMMARY:

• Experienced Marketing Analyst for an industrial parts manufacturer, reports to VP Sales & Marketing, position vacant due to internal promotion of the previous person who held the position. This role is for mining market intelligence-provide Field Sales People with as much information as possible when going in front of a potential customer (total competitive landscape including pricing, exclusivities, etc. in geographic-specific markets throughout the country). Ideally, the candidate should inform Sales Powerpoint Presentations. The position will travel to trade shows and some customer visits especially early on to see, touch, feel the product.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Business degree and 3-5 years of proven strategic marketing experience (four-year degree desired).

• MUST have experience with marketing in a manufacturing setting.

• Demonstrated evidence of being a positive/contributing member of a team that accomplished company-appointed targets.

• Proven ability to master advanced excel documents/numbers.

• Fluent in the MS Office suite of tools; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

• Ability to speak/present in a professional/persuasive manner in front of small/large groups of people (including online video conferences). This includes the ability to write letters/emails in the same professional style.

• Skilled in managing/updating the following categories in the ERP (back-office system):
  • Price / Price categories
  • Products
    • New Products
    • Obsoleted Products
    • Superseded Products / X-Refs
  • Customer groups

• Can analyze business results / market data numbers (quantities/revenue/margin/margin percentages/market share/competitive price info).

• Organized and well prepared to present data to the leadership team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Collaborate and help create Sales Powerpoint Presentations with the gathered data and market intelligence results.
