What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Kelly?
Kelly Services is seeking Machine Operators and Material Handlers in South Windsor, CT. These are long-term assignments with no end date!
Come and work in a fast-paced environment that processes large volumes of financial documents for fortune 500 Companies. We need individuals with strong attention to detail, who can read, follow instructions, and meet deadlines. Training is provided and could be from 2-6 weeks depending on position.

Machine Operator:
- Setup load, run and troubleshoot high speed, automated computer-controlled equipment
- Must be comfortable in working with machines and learning a new skill.
- Perform preventative maintenance and authorized repairs.
- Assemble printed materials into a final product and distribute final product to end destination.
- Previous Pitney Bowes inserter machine experience helpful.
Material Handler:
- Perform the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, and supplies.
- Operate and drive Electric Pallet Jack
- At least 6-month history of driving an EJP preferred.
- Deliver products to the machine operators and throughout other departments in the warehouse.
- Remove boxes and paper that have been discarded around the machines and put them in the recycling area.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Able to stand on your feet for 12 hours.
- Comfortable standing, stooping, walking, bending, and lifting to 50 lbs. frequently
- Reliable
- Have reliable transportation
SHIFTS:
- Early Week Days (EWD) – Sun, Mon, Tues, alt Wed (6am-6pm)
- Early Week Nights (EWN) – Sun, Mon, Tues, alt Sat (6pm-6am)
- Late Week Days (LWD) – Thurs, Fri, Sat, alt Wed (6am-6pm)
- Late Week Nights (LWN) – Wed, Thurs, Fri, alt Sat (6pm-6am)
