What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pick/Pack Associate position at Kelly?
Pay rate: $15.00
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday
- 1st Shift 8:00am-4:30pm
- The primary objective of a Pick/Pack Associates is to fulfill work orders and picking slips to quantity and quality. This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking and packing daily order, ensuring items are not damaged before shipping to customers.
- Accurately and efficiently picking and packing daily orders using Net-suite Software and the RF Gun
- Verifying the correct item is picked and packed per each order
- Inspecting each item that is picked and packed to ensure it is not defective
- Notify the Pick/Pack Lead of any issues regarding an order or an item
- Pulls and packs product based on daily orders
- Bin Transfers
- RF Scanner to pick orders
- Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
- Keep products separated, organized and in good rotation.
- Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
- Operates various pieces of equipment (RF Scanner Cherry Picker, Forklift, Dolly Loader, pallet jacks)
- Ability to read/write in English
- Ensures safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities
- Adheres to company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Majority of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high
- PPE required as determined by company safety standards: safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, safety shoes
- High School Diploma or equivalent working experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production manner
- Able to follow instructions and production schedules
- Ability to read and write in English
- Previous order picking and packing experience
- Previous RF Gun or Net-suite experience
- Attention to Detail
- Forklift/Pallet Jack /RF experience preferred
- Basic Computer Skills preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Must be able to lift- up to 50 lbs.
- Able to walk, stand, push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, climb, and carry 100% of the day
