Essential Experience
- Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities, evaluate alternative solutions, and justify the capital required to implement optimal solutions.
- Experience working as a team member in cross-functional groups, representing diverse perspectives.
- Strong understanding of the relationship and interconnectivity between operations, maintenance, utility optimization, technical training, scheduling, safety, environmental, and other activities.
- Hands-on experience with machine or process layout.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar systems, with a willingness to adapt to the AutoCAD platform.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and analytically.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to seeking out improvement opportunities within the framework of overall strategic goals.
- Demonstrated leadership as a creative and innovative self-starter, with a strong grasp of manufacturing processes and plant operations.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to develop productive and beneficial business relationships with internal and external individuals and groups.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in an industrial setting
