Position Summary:
This position is responsible for leading resolution and providing technical solutions to escalated customer complaints for all Niche Diagnostics products. In addition, this position is responsible for helping resolve immediate manufacturing issues and customer complaint issues by working with Senior members of the team, gain technical knowledge of and hands-on experience in all product lines, and assist in streamlining and improving manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform, summarize, and represent initial investigation for escalated customer complaints involving Niche Diagnostics products
- Serves as a primary resource in troubleshooting technical issues from the OEM partners
- Support the assay programming for the applications instruments, as needed by the hotline group, including working directly with customers
- Technical support for various methods and for procedures and processes requiring evaluation and judgment with the assistance of senior members of the team
- Perform manufacturing process, immunoassay optimization and testing procedures on routine and non-routine production work using a variety of equipment and instrumentation
- Prepare new and update existing procedures
- Demonstrate good cross functional working relationship
- Demonstrate good flexibility with changes to working environment and deliver high quality results
- Communicate executive summaries to peers and management in a timely fashion.
- Compile, analyze data, and compose reports as required
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- BS in a scientific discipline or equivalent biotech industry experience
- Demonstrated ability for technical proficiency, scientific creativity, problem solving skills, collaboration with other departments
- Ability to present and communicate (oral and written) information in a clear manner.
- Computer skills such as Word and Excel.
