Job Description
Our customer's Space Systems business unit in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Test Engineer to support on-site, dedicated 2nd and 3rd shift and weekend test bench operations for the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) of a production Space Payload program.

Job Description
Our customer's Space Systems business unit in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Test Engineer to support on-site, dedicated 2nd and 3rd shift and weekend test bench operations for the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) of a production Space Payload program.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Executing test scripts for the verification of Software, Hardware, and System requirements for applications in Space.
- Understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) systems, especially RADAR, SIGINT, or COMMS
- Programming and scripting skills
- BS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math); or HS diploma with at least four (4) years of relevant military experience with sensor system, ideally RADAR, integration and test or operation and maintenance, or military control room console operator; or defense industry work experience with sensor system, ideally RADAR, integration and test or operation and maintenance
- Willingness to work dedicated 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends for several months continuously (2nd shift is typically 1 PM – 10 PM; 3rd shift is typically 9 PM – 6 AM)
- No clearance needed to start for escorted work
- U.S. Citizenship
- Experience with RADAR and/or ESA (Electronically Scanned Array) integration and test
- Experience with Space Payload or Space Vehicle (Satellite) integration and test in a clean room environment
- Programming in C or MATLAB for understanding and editing/improving existing code
- Scripting in Python or Tcl for understanding and editing/improving existing scripts
- Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket
- TS/SCI clearance for unescorted work
- Working knowledge of RF test equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, etc.)
