Position Warehouse Clerk

Location Clifton Park NY 12065

Pay Rate $22.00 per hour

Shift 8:00 pm-6:00 am Sunday – Thursday

Temporary through 2/3/2023

Job description/Position Summary:

• Tears down and arranges picking labels; organizes paperwork and needed
  documents for selecting crew
• Completes necessary paperwork for route loading, alerts jockey to change trucks,
  and prepares route information as needed for drivers.
• Checks returns and assembles order for proper return to picking slot.
• Checks credit slips and investigates picking errors; checks warehouse inventory for product that cannot be found.
• Interacts with DP Dept. in regard to warehouse-related computer reports, invoices, and other warehouse documents
• Processes paperwork for hot loads or trucks that need to be received at night.
• Updates master storage report after shipping
• Interacts with supervisors, router/dispatcher, drivers, and warehouse personnel regarding selecting and shipping issues
• Answers phone and either handles or directs calls to other personnel as needed.
  Other duties as assigned or directed.

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Neat and legible handwriting; calculator experience and ability
• Good computer skills, including spreadsheet application, keying, etc.
• Self-motivated
• Good communication skills (verbal and written); ability to work well with others
• Previous warehouse knowledge/experience preferable
• Able to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends and holidays
• Basic mathematical skills
