Overview
Kemin Nutrisurance is seeking a talented and dedicated Sanitation Technician - Food Safety. The successful candidate will be in charge of and responsible for optimizing sanitation practices to ensure a hygienic manufacturing environment while maintaining all Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety standards; CIP monitoring and supporting GMP inspections. This position will work day shift at the Verona, Missouri Production Plant.

- Effectively perform all sanitation responsibilities including (but not limited to) keeping work area, equipment, and tools, clean and safe for production functions per written instructions.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Follow instructions, specific procedures and protocols, and adhere to policies to ensure the highest quality of product and safe work environment.
- Work closely with other departments as needed to support production efforts.
- Operate forklift.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in Food Service or Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods and to climb stairs.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 55 lbs.
- The position requires excellent attendance, detailed in all aspects of the job, and a self-starter.
- Ability to read, understand, follow manufacturing standard operating procedures and to maintain a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
