Kemper is seeking a experienced Project Manager II to work at our Downers Grove, IL office. The Project Manager II is responsible for successful completions of given projects. Will need a thorough understanding of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines.With limited guidance, is responsible for the project’s successful completion. Ensures that the project proceeds within the specified time frame and under the established budget, while achieving its objectives.
Responsibilities:
- With limited guidance, is responsible for the project’s successful completion. Ensures that the project proceeds within the specified time frame and under the established budget, while achieving its objectives.
- Ensure that projects are given sufficient resources, while managing relationships with contributors and stakeholders as well as preparing and distributing project status reports.
- Develops and reviews the project plan and manages those deliverables according to the plan.
- Establish a project schedule and determine each phase.
Monitors the progress of the team, informs the team of its progress and provides the team with reporting, analysis, support and direction.
Provide regular updates to upper management
Qualifications:
- 2 Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Thorough understanding of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines.
- Must have effective written and verbal communications skills.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and time management skills.
