Job Summary: The KEMRON Proposal Manager has the responsibility for managing proposal preparation activities for environmental investigation and remediation efforts for Federal and Commercial clients as part of the Marketing and Proposal Department. The Proposal Manager works closely with the Capture Manager, technical staff, and Estimating Department to ensure that the opportunity strategies, solutions, themes, and discriminators are woven into the proposal. The Proposal Manager ensures that the proposal response is compliant, compelling, and completed on schedule.

Primary Responsibilities and JOB DUTIES:
- Development of plans for proposal preparation, proposal outlines, schedules, assignments, and graphics for each proposal
- Delegate work and assignments to members of Marketing/Proposal Department based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints
- Gather and research information to include in proposals, including resumes and project summaries
- Provide support for marketing efforts such as the development of marketing materials, qualifications packages, and social media posts
- Manage multiple proposals, possibly for dissimilar companies/agencies simultaneously
- Coordinate with technical staff to develop, research, track, and follow-up on leads
- Provide final quality control check, including proofreading for grammar, RFP compliance and conformance to established strategies and plans
- Verify complex technical solutions, strategies and themes are easily understandable, readable, and compelling
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in English, Communications or Marketing
- Must have 5 years of direct work with proposal preparation and management
- Experience with the preparation of proposals for Federal government agencies
- Must possess strong organizational, grammar, proofreading and spelling skills
- A high level of demonstrable proficiency using all Microsoft applications (Word/Excel/SharePoint/Outlook) and Adobe PDF is required
- Previous experience must include reading, understanding, and analyzing RFPs and RFQs
- Must have demonstrated success writing proposals and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with technical staff
- Must have a strong personal work ethic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills are required
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlines
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
- Have a strong understanding/experience in the usage of social media for business
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills

- Primary residence must be located in the Atlanta, GA or Denver, CO metropolitan area

- Must have ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Ability to occasionally work after normal business hours and on weekends on an emergency and pre-arranged basis is required
- Must be able to work on a computer laptop, with or without a separate monitor, for prolonged periods
- If primarily located in the Atlanta, GA area, must be able to occasionally travel to the KEMRON corporate office in Atlanta, GA
- Must understand and follow KEMRON SOPs for specific task(s)
- Must have the ability to move about to accomplish tasks or move from one workstation to another within an office environment
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
