About the Position
The Mgr – Treasury & Finance is responsible for leadership of and assistance with finance related projects and a wide variety of day-to-day treasury functions. These projects may relate to conformation with internal control assessment and improvement, treasury management, process improvement initiatives, strategic plan execution, and business analysis. This position will manage treasury and cash application employees.
Functions
- Document, identify improvements, and prepare presentations related to various business processes
- Creation and management of sheets within the Qlik analytics platform
- Manages and prepares 13-week cash flow forecasting
- Analyze the short-term cash forecast and identify, investigate, and communicate the root cause for any significant variances.
- Manages automated cash flow forecasting
- Identify opportunities for RPA (Robotic Process Improvement) and overall process improvement within different areas of the company
- Manages and develops a team of employees that are responsible for Treasury and cash management
- Assist in the management of company-wide strategic initiatives
- Assist with the management of credit partner relationships including account origination and covenant compliance.
- Involvement in summarizing all daily activity and creating or approving all wire and ACH payments.
- Identify opportunities to improve cash management systems and processes, including the evaluation of available options and supporting implementation of any approved changes.
- Manage relationships with banks to include all debt and treasury activities.
- Timely resolution of any bank account related problems and customer inquiries.
- Maintain company dividend schedule
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; Master’s degree or CPA preferred
- 5 - 7 years of corporate work experience in accounting or finance required; experience in public accounting, logistics, or retail/service industries preferred
- Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel (i.e. reporting, modeling, pivot tables, macros, data tables, simulations, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail, strong ownership, work ethic, and intense focus on accuracy and accountability required
