Kitchen Utility Aide: PRN 5p-8:30p

Kendal at Oberlin's Dining Services team currently has openings for Kitchen Utility Aides for PRN (as needed) 5p-8:30p. Essential job functions of the Utility Aides will include but are not limited to:

• Operating dish machines.
• Washing pots and pans.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen counters and floors.
• Receiving, checking, weighing and storing stock items delivered to Dining Services. 
• Sweeping, mopping and special cleaning jobs to ensure the department's sanitation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Candidates must be able to read, write and understand English;
• Experience in food services highly desirable;
• Must be dependable with excellent attendance;
• Have a friendly and helpful attitude, working well with others.
• Appearance must be clean and neat. 
• Must be able to lift weights of up to 60 pounds.
