What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Utility Aide position at #Kendal?
This position has varied part-time hours. It requires repetitive lifting of 60 pounds and standing most of the day.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares for the next meal by cleaning all pots, pans, and utensils
- Emptying and relining trash cans as needed, as well as taking the trash downstairs and rinsing out trash cart
- Organizing the freezer and walk-in boxes on assigned days
- Sweeping and mopping
- Completing pH level checks and completing appropriate log
- Sanitizing the storerooms and walk in refrigerators
- Keeping AM Chef/Supervisor - Sous Chef/Supervisor or Production Manager informed of problems or needs
- Storing bread orders while properly rotating the items on the cart
- Comparing invoices to product delivery thoroughly
- Checking packages for breakage, opening product dented cans, keeping unusable product separate
- Completing temperature checks within 15 minutes of delivery and recording the temperature
- Checking daily and refills as needed for the soap and towel dispensers
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must be able to follow and give written and oral instructions, and otherwise communicate and receive communications orally and in writing.
- Must have the ability to work well with others, follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.
- Appearance must be clean, neat and orderly.
