Our retail store inside the Kenly 95 Petro is looking for an addition to the floor!
Key Objectives
- To maintain and improve overall sales and operations for the driver supply department through managing new and current product.
- Stay up to date with the current and new product for drivers.
Specific Responsibilities
- Review items within your department to ensure display quantities and par levels are where they should be to promote sales growth, but not excessive levels unnecessarily.
- Set up all vendors and minimize manual override capability.
- Order new product as needed.
- Mark as discontinued in system non-mover and excessive on-hand items.
- If department requires any receiving, ensure accurate receiving and review all receiving documents for errors and that all items are within target margin requirements.
- Reinforce to all associates in your department (as well as all employees, yourself included) that customers and safety are the first priority and all other tasks are secondary at all times.
- Show customer how product works or what changes can be made and how.
Management Responsibilities
- Recommends organizational structure, objectives, and staffing requirements. Makes recommendations for improving effectiveness of policy or procedures.
- Provides or insures effective on-the-job-training to associates as needed. Identifies areas where additional training is needed.
- Keeps abreast of current trends and practices in the industry. Makes recommendations for implementation.
- Assumes other special activities and responsibilities as directed from time to time.
