What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Site Designer position at Kennedy Consulting Engineers?
Kennedy Consulting Engineers is seeking a design focused professional who has 2 to 3 years of land development design experienced and can work in person in the Red Bank, NJ area.
Duties:
- Design/Draft Civil Engineering designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Complete Municipal, SCD, and County permit applications
- Prepare conceptual design drawings utilizing municipal zoning criteria
- Prepare initial subdivision yield sketches based upon RSIS design requirements and municipal zoning criteria
- Prepare drainage area mapping
- Prepare color renderings for presentation
- Other duties as assigned by Project Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Computer Aided Design, or related field required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in land development is preferred.
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and Microsoft Office products, Adobe Photoshop experience preferred.
- Ability to work with others in an office setting
- Written and verbal communication skills are necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,500.00 - $65,500.00 per year
