KORT is Kentucky's premier provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy specializing in orthopedics, sports and industrial medicine. Since 1987, KORT has provided clinical and customer service excellence to patients in our clinics, at employer sites, and with high school, college, and professional sports teams.

Our Louisville, KY Sports and Performance physical therapy center is looking for a compassionate and driven licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care experiences.  Seize the opportunity to join our highly trained and respected physical therapy team that provides preventative and rehabilitative services that help improve quality of life for the community in which they live and work. Compensation starting at $70,000 annual base. $4200 annually student debt relief program, and potential for $10,000 sign on bonus!

Responsibilities

• Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Develops treatment plans, supervises assistants and aides, contributes to case management, and provides quality patient care.
• Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff.
• In states where permitted: document in charts using accepted medical terminology and format.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy
• 2 years in outpatient physical therapy
• Pelvic Health experience
• Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patients
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OCS or SCS certification
• Work with athletes 
• Herman Wallace Level 1
