PT Security Guard - 3 shifts/Week

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

We are looking for a part-time Security Guard that will not only help us maintain a safe and welcoming environment, but also project a strong Aloha spirit. This position is full-time. Priority will be given to candidates with the ability to pick-up additional shifts if needed. Our Security team frequently interacts with residents and guests, answering their questions and acknowledging their concerns. Due to the nature of this role, we would prefer applicants that have previous Customer Service experience, or Guard experience. Good communication skills are a must! Requirements:

• Current & Valid HI State guard card a must & ability to pass a background check. Or ability to obtain this certification (at an out-of-pocket cost) within the first 60 days of employment.
• High school graduate.
• Reading/writing comprehension
• Must be fluent in English (spoken, reading, and written).
• Must be able to handle physical demands/duties of the job (constantly standing, walking, lifting to 50 lbs. & additional duties as needed).
• Must be able to potentially work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
• Experience in daily activity logs, incident report writing, and pass down records will be expected.
• Ability to navigate a database, email, and calendar system is a must.
• Attention to detail is extremely important in this role.
• Must display strong professionalism in appearance.
• CPR/AED card preferred, can train if not current.

Essential Job Functions:

• Multi-tasking and handling competing urgencies with attention to priority.
• Answering phone calls, and at times, emails.
• Database entry
• Providing customer service to residents, their guests, and building contractors.
• Patrols property on foot, ensuring its security and enforcing house rules/policies.
• Investigate incidents, generates reports, and reports maintenance & security conditions.
• Investigates security related accidents and incidents.
• Investigate, report, and coordinate fire and other evacuations/ hazardous situations.
• Always maintain a proper uniform attire and grooming standard.

Interested applicant will have knowledge or the ability to learn to operate in an operations environment. All training necessary for position will be covered for the right candidate (CPR/AED, OSHA etc.). Uniform shirts will be provided.

Our immediate shift needs are below, applicant must be able to cover all needed shifts. Priority may be given to applicants with more flexibility to pick-up additional shifts if needed.

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

7 AM – 3 PM (Morning Shift)

Thursday:

3 PM - 11 PM (Morning Shift)
