About the role
This role would be responsible for the day-to-day management and detailed activities related to Supply Excellence and Outbound Order Management. Utilizing the SAP system and excel reporting, the right candidate would have exceptional planning and communication skills that is able to work in a high demanding environment managing both detailed planning and continuous improvement initiatives. This would involve working with local and remote team members to ensure all customer service levels are met. Activities would include managing the Open Order review process to ensure all orders are delivered on time and in full, in accordance with business and customer expectations. This is an integral role within the Supply Chain department to ensure the team meets and exceed all order management KPls such as, OTIF (On Time In Full), MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) and Lead Time adherence as well as provide full transparency within the Kerry management team by providing weekly status reports and commentary.
Key responsibilities
- Instil a daily OTIF (On Time In Full) focused culture within the operational execution team/s. Run the daily Supply Excellence Dashboard for associated plants and distribute to stakeholders prior to the daily touch point call.
- Chair the daily cross-functional Supply Excellence touch point call with appropriate stakehotders including (but not limited to) site quality, warehouse, logistics, purchasing, planning, customer care and production execution
- Daily maintenance and consolidation of open order overview, including the process to capture status / reason code / comments. Minute and distribute agreed actions resultant from the daily Supply Excellence call and follow through until completion by allocated owner.
- Drive system and transactional compliance of all departments associated with the Supply Excellence process.
- Highlight customer orders in review status and agree actions needed to align dates or avoid the OTIF failure altogether.
- Cross-functional escalation and micro management of pending / urgent / delayed orders until completion or until aligned in the system.
- Allocation of all OTIF reason codes and text fields for order failures.
- Management of the weekly OTIF appeals process and issuing of final OTIF results
- Weekly executive reporting to business management and commercial teams Identify opportunity for putting sustainable supply fixes in place Back up for production planning which would involve:
- Planning and preparing a production schedule of allocated line o Plans to pre-determined manufacture sequencing protocols according to product characteristics / quality requirements o Develop a robust production plan to ensure designated stock levels are maintained and sales orders met on time and in full
Qualifications and skills
- Preferably a Degree in Supply Chain / Science related field / Business / Statistics / Mathematics
- Good MS Office (particularly MS Excel) and systems experience (SAP knowledge highly regarded by not essential)
- Possess strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills, to enhance workflow efficiencies and effectiveness
- Excellent interpersonal skills, assertive, independent and self-motivated
- Strong influencing, negotiating, presentation and communication skills practiced routinely and cross-functionally
- Need to have tenacity in chasing up on any foreseen issues
- Result oriented and able to drive team results to meet Inventory KPI
