What You'll Do:
This position is a direct pipeline role for our next on shift supervisor opening. The objective of this role is to assist in project work that will translate to process improvements within production. As a trainer you will also be tasked with helping to develop a more robust training program for the site. This role will also include training and development to prepare for supervising production. This position will report directly to the Sr. Production Supervisor.
Hours: Primarily Monday - Friday (7a-4p OR 8a-5p) With the ability to flex hours in order to meet production priorities
Once fully trained, the hours will also be flexed in order to get experience supervising.
Responsibilities:
- Fully train as a Production Supervisor
- 10-20% of work load cover vacation for supervisors
- Project work
- Assist in creating SOPs for Production
- Maintain training records
- Assist in transition to new Alchemy system
- Assist in TECO errors
- Assist in TECOing
- Analyze and resolve problems
- Backup to maintaining production schedule
- Maintain record for production PMs
- Assist in problem solving on day to day issues as they arise
- As sites priorities change, the scope of these responsibilities can change.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years experience within manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to problem solve
- Demonstrate examples of emotional intelligence
- Excellent attendance
