What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at Keurig Dr Pepper?
Route Cashier
Receives funds from customers and employees. May disburse funds, record monetary transactions, and/or issue receipts for funds received. May perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, data entry, general inventory duties, etc.
Position Shift and Schedule
This is a Full time position, working Monday through Friday from 11pm to 7pm, although flexibility is required to work on a different schedule, overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
Position Responsibilities
- Account for money collected daily from assigned routes.
- Post any discrepancies in invoice totals compared to cash collected.
- Assist other cashiers in completing daily tasks.
- Collect and record all payments received.
- Use of counting and coin machine.
- Prepare bank deposit slips and other necessary paperwork
- Identify and record problems for supervisor to review
- Act as back up for the building administrative assistant
Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- 1 year experience with Microsoft Office ( Excel, Word and Outlook)
- 1 year cashier/cash handling experience
- Lift approximately 50-70lbs
