What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer at KEY Traditional Camp Head Counselor position at Key School?
Summer at KEY’s 2023 Traditional Camp will run from June 26 through August 4. We are looking for responsible, motivated, fun, and energetic individuals to lead this program for ages 3 ½ - entering 1st grade. Visit our website at www.keyschool.org/summer for more information about these programs.
The Head Counselor, with the support of an Assistant Counselor, is responsible for leading groups of 10 to 16 campers in daily activities that include arts and crafts, swimming, games, and sports. The Head Counselor is responsible for the campers’ daily physical safety and emotional well-being. Applicants must be an adult and are required to have previous experience working with children in a school or other setting.
Hours are 8:30-3:45 the first day of each week and 8:45-3:45 the remainder of the week. Additional hours are available for those interested in working in the Extended Care Program. Salary : $27,200 - $34,500
