Keystone Financial Group is an independent full-service financial advisory/wealth management firm located in the Columbus, Ohio area. We are seeking a motivated “people person” with sales experience and strong interpersonal skills to join our fun, energetic and growing team!
The primary responsibility of the position will be focused around supporting the existing firm’s partners in creating and maintaining relationships with existing clients and new business opportunities.
In addition, this role will provide the opportunity to build the Associate Advisor’s own book of business over time, while enjoying a flexible schedule and a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Associate Advisor Position Overview:
- Learn financial planning software and assist advisors with case design
- Prepare client files and documents for annual and 6-month reviews
- Complete life insurance/annuity applications for advisors
- Re-establish relationships with inactive clients potentially take over servicing these clients
- Learn college workshop process (with the goal of eventually conducting workshops to bring in more new clients)
- Attend and assist with all college front-end and back-end sales appointments with our college planning advisor
- Learn college planning process and assist with college client services
- Assist with onboarding new college planning clients
- Ongoing attendance at available training conferences and calls to learn our business model and continually improve skills
- Attain appropriate certifications as needed (Life/Health, Certified Financial Fiduciary®, Series 65)
Associate Advisor Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of sales experience preferred (preferably in the financial services industry)
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Enjoys building relationships/being part of a team
- Teachable and enjoys learning
- Self-motivated/excellent work ethic
- Detail-oriented
- Proficient in basic computer and software skills
Schedule Requirements:
- Schedule flexibility is required, as some evening appointments may be necessary.
Compensation Model:
- Base salary to be determined based upon candidate’s years of experience and certifications, with opportunities for commission splits
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
