Medical Benefit Plan Liaison
The primary point of contact for employees to address their questions, concerns about the medical plan; assist in confirmation of coverage with providers/facilities and act as a liaison to the TPA regarding claims.
Responsibilities:
- Educate plan members on the medical plan features and design.
- Assist plan members on identifying providers and facilities.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and the TPA regarding claims, EOB, Balance Billing issues.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and insurance providers, monitoring and reporting on insurance claim issues.
- Audit Claims reporting, identifying items to be addressed.
- Assist with analyzing benefit program data.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (GED), post High School Education strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of medical self-insured benefit plans and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with benefit portal and other related software including but not limited to email, Word, and Excel.
- Superb customer service and interpersonal skills with strong communication abilities both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented mindset, able to manage benefit data accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to employee benefits.
