This job posting is for a position in a restaurant that is independently owned and operated by Schoenhofer Enterprises, a long-time KFC franchisee. This means your application will be reviewed by the Schoenhofer Enterprises who will make all hiring decisions. If hired, Schoenhofer Enterprises will be your employer and is alone responsible for any employment related matters.
Schoenhofer Enterprises is an independent KFC franchisee with KFCs located in a 5-state area that includes Kansas, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. Schoenhofer Enterprise's founder, Denis Schoenhofer is a second-generation KFC franchisee who works with daughter and son, Samantha and Cameron, on a daily basis to continue the legacy of Colonel Sanders and Chuck Schoenhofer, Denis’s father and Samantha and Cameron’s grandfather.
Chuck Schoenhofer was one of the first KFC franchisees in Kansas many years ago, reaching a franchise agreement with Colonel Sanders in the late 1950’s. So, you might say that Denis grew up in a KFC. But just because his father owned KFC’s, it didn’t mean that he could just kick back and chill. Just the opposite. He breaded and fried chicken, helped customers, and took out the trash – just like everyone else at the restaurant. It was fast-paced and fun, and it was definitely a lot of work. But it was great too because it was rewarding, he got to use his brain and made some great friends.
Years later, several of Denis’s original crew still work with him today. It’s definitely a real family business. Every single day, the Schoenhofers travel to and work in stores throughout a five-state region. They rely on each other and the talented team they have assembled in some 22 restaurants. Over the years, this team has become a family and would like to welcome you into their family, as well.
As the president of Schoenhofer Enterprises, Denis strongly believes that his team and family work so well together because they share a common pledge to their customers and to each other:
· To treat customers and employees with the kindness, care and respect that they truly deserve.
· To provide a hot and fresh product of the highest quality and insist on prompt and courteous service.
· To maintain a clean, inviting and attractive place of business, both inside and outside the building.
· To maintain each facility in the best possible condition under all possible circumstances.
· To provide hospitality, friendship and fast service to fulfill the promise of a great customer experience.
