Responsibilities:
- .NET Developer configures, tunes, maintains, and installs application systems and/or user group profiles
- Schedules installations and upgrades
- Validates system functionality after changes
- Installs new software releases and application system upgrades; Evaluates and installs patches; Evaluates new vendor supplied products
- Monitors and fine-tunes the application system to achieve optimum performance levels; Works with internal infrastructure teams and vendors to provide recommendations for hardware and system software upgrades
- As a .NET Developer, you will develop and maintain a comprehensive system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation
- Works with application developers, vendors, and internal infrastructure team members to troubleshoot application system problems
- Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity
- Understands system architecture and provides guidance to development teams and business lines on how to use the system
- Acts to improve the overall reliability of systems and to increase administers efficiency
- Knowledge of authoring tools and human interface; Must be experienced with performance aspects of application development
- Knowledge of DBMSs, development methodology, standards, design tools and specification representation
- MCP internet or other certifications like Win 95/98/NT/UNIX, JavaScript, VBScript, PERL, XML, HTML, SQL Server, Oracle, Progress, MS Front Page, Cold Fusion, Visual Interdev, ActiveX, and Java Applets, ISAPI/NSAPI or MS IIS
- Knowledge of web design principles and standards, firewall and network security and Internet database connectivity
- Demonstrates good understanding of the business needs driving the projects
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with Security and Database teams to perform setup of packaged software
