Senior Vendor Relations Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Vendor Relations Specialist in Chesterfield, MO.

Primary Functions:
* Senior Vendor Relations Specialist manages the relationships between MTS and external vendors
* Negotiate IT contracts and Statements of Work for software applications
* Administers the contracts with hardware and software vendors
* Collects information about external marketplace (not limited to technology) and serves as a resource on this knowledge to the organization
* Provides information and advice about technology vendors, offerings, and options
* May interact with vendor to resolve escalated problems and plan for future releases of software
* Resolves complaints, make adjustments, or correct mistakes regarding a specific set of products, services, capabilities, issues, or questions
* Monitor progress and performance of vendor services based on more-complex statements of work
* Responsible for managing statements of work for contracted labor
* May perform simple negotiations with established vendors

REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree
* 3 years of experience
* Someone with negotiation and contracting experience
* Business Acumen: Has a deeper understanding of business and the implications that each technology has on business results
* Fast paced environment
* 40 hours FTE, 3-6 month RTH, local candidate preferred; Hybrid after in-office training (Chesterfield)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
