Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a Python Automation Tester. Responsibilities:

As a Python Automation Tester, this role will actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Plans, participates, and coordinates in the performance and scalability testing planning and execution to accurately measure product(s) ability to respond/scale to increased loads
-
Owns code & development best practices for scalability and performance testing, including code review process and validation
-
Owns deliverables of complex projects delivering end-to-end ability to validate development releases of components
-
The Python Automation Tester will implement reporting solution(s) to provide measurable, clear, and concise metrics on issues across products/programs
-
Resident expert in system integration points, redundancy, and dependencies to enable quick troubleshooting of issues across the solution(s)

Actively and independently acquires and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs

Lead efforts to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems
-
Performs quality audits across the various teams to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed

As a Python Automation Tester, you will lead RCA discussions and summarize outcomes for leadership/executive audiences

Strong in Python coding

Strong in Robot Framework

Strong in Networking (VLAN/NAT/Port forwarding/DHCPv4&v6/IPV4 & V6/UPnP)

Strong in Linux and commands

Strong in Gitlab CI/CD pipelining and version control

Capable of debating and mentoring us in networking concepts/python coding

Capable of challenging and deriving solutions to automate router and networking e2e functionalities

Proactive and capable of making the right decisions

Experience in writing and modifying code in multiple languages (GO, JavaScript, Python, Java, C#)

Experience in writing and modifying code in CD Router

Experience with scalability testing and performance measurement on the system side (Networking and busy box)

Expert in workload modeling and capacity planning

Should be able to understand and optimize thread pool and heap configurations in order to optimize software performance

Proficient in test tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)

Excellent communicator (written and verbal): ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Self-starter, self-motivated, driven individual

Ability to work well with shifting priorities

Ability to work with cross-functional team of internal and external resources

Display professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretion

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
