Kforce has a client that is seeking an Advanced ECS Specialist in Denver, CO. This is a contract to hire role. They will be on-site 5 days per week.
Summary : The ECS Specialist provides accurate, courteous, high-quality information technology (IT) support and service; and originates creative, value-add IT solutions for the client.
This position applies advanced IT systems knowledge and excellent customer service skills to resolve client-side hardware, software, networking, printing, and other end-point peripheral issues.
The ECS Specialist works independently as well as collaborates with other IT teams and customers. This position leads the overall administration of enterprise client systems and services and participates in the weekly rotation as the initial escalation point for the ECS team.
Job Duties : Customer Service 60% :
Diagnoses, responds to, and resolves client-side customer incidents and service requests using the IT Incident Management process and ticketing system utilizing phone, email, instant messaging, and desk-side contact
ECS Administration 15% :
Administers all facets of client lifecycle management and client-side IT systems for the enterprise
Enhancements and Small Projects 15% :
Collaboratively engages and supports dynamic cross-functional IT teams
Operational Excellence 10% :
- Thoroughly documents resolutions within the Incident and Problem Management ticketing system
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, etc., or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience in client-side Hardware / software support and Configuration
- Experience managing networked, distributed client-side technology environment using a variety of tools (e.g., Active Directory, GPOs, patch management, Client Management (SCCM, ours is BMC), MDM, etc.)
- Experience using enterprise ticketing system and escalation process
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
This range may be modified in the future.
