Night Crew - Store Assistants

Khaadi is seeking for Night Crew - Store Assistants to join our dedicated team at our exciting new store at The Galleria, Houston. As a Night Crew - Store Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store is ready for a fresh day of trading, providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Night Shift Work: This role primarily involves working during the night to prepare the store for the following day's trading.

Age Requirement: Due to working time regulations, all applicants must be 18 years or over to apply for this position.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Stock Replenishment: Replenish and organize stock to maintain a well-stocked and tidy store.

Receiving Stock: Receive and process new stock deliveries with accuracy and efficiency.

Visual Merchandising Guidelines: Adhere to our in-house guidelines to maintain a consistent and appealing store appearance that aligns with our brand identity.

Shopfloor Display: Arrange and maintain shopfloor displays to ensure products are well-presented per store standards guideline.

Steam Clothes: Prepare clothes by steaming to ensure they look their best for our customers.

Security Tag Compliance: Ensure all items have the appropriate security tags to prevent loss or theft.

Assisting During Busy Periods: During high-demand periods, such as seasonal sales, Boxing Day, and Black Friday, you will play a crucial role in maintaining organization and ensuring our store is well-prepared.

Stock Room Organization: Keep the stock room organized to facilitate efficient stock replenishment.

Shop floor maintenance: Keep the shop floor clean and tidy.

Reporting Discrepancies and Damaged Items: Promptly report any discrepancies in stock and damaged items, contributing to the quality of our products and overall store presentation.

Inventory Management: Be involved in monitoring inventory levels, assisting with stock takes, and tracking stock movement, gaining valuable experience in inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or stock management is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Must be available for night shifts and be flexible with work hours.

Job Type: Temporary

Salary: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Weekends as needed
