What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Engineer position at KI?
KI has an opening for a Automation Engineer for 1st Shift at its Green Bay Manufacturing Facility. This position will design, engineer, start-up and provide support for process and safety control systems supporting our operations team. Responsibilities will be to design, develop and implement process control systems to be used in production and manufacturing processes. The selected candidate will prepare engineering estimates for projects from design thru start-up that focus on continuous improvement activities that improve key performance indicators. In addition, the position is responsible for leading or assisting in the design, approval, build and implementation of equipment and process required for new products or product enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a 2 or 4 year degree in a related Engineering field, experience preferred in process control systems, distributed control systems and programmable logic control design of control systems for industrial applications.
