Status
Summary
Under the direction of Digital Technology Management, the General Security Analyst will report to the Cybersecurity Manager and be a key member of the security team. This important role will assist with security administrative functions such as governance and risk management. This includes helping to update Information Security Policies, coordinating IT risk assessments, and participating in security related training. Additionally, this position will collaborate with Facilities team to ensure physical IT assets are protected in accordance with local and global security policies and guidelines.
Major Responsibilities
1st Priority - 30%
Assists with the management of Kia America’s Security Policies, Standards and Procedures including coordinating regular updates and ensuring employees and contractors are aware of them. This includes coordinating alignment with global Information Security Policies and Standards.
2nd Priority - 30%
Supports Kia America’s security education program. Works with counterparts and HR on the content of the program and how it will be communicated. Program to include newsletters, multi-media training materials and presentations.
3rd Priority - 30%
Supports IT and physical security risk management activities including project risk assessments, vendor assessments and scheduling of penetration tests. Will engage outsourced IT service provider to perform most of these tasks and ensure the results are timely and of high quality.
4th Priority - 10%
Participates in information security consulting services to key stakeholders across all business departments.
Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or comparative experience in IT

Security certification a plus
Overall Experience
- 5 years of work experience with good exposure to security practices and technologies
- Experience with privacy compliance and data governance is desirable

Salary : $77,800 - $98,400
