The KickHouse General Manager (GM) has responsibility for effectively managing membership, fitness, and instruction within the studio to provide the best member and team experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Execution on Key Metrics & Drivers, thus Results
- The General Manager is responsible of ensuring Sales Process Execution to meet financial targets
- Lead generation including Field Marketing and Networking - Execute sales process to schedule prospects into KickStart classes
- Drive Membership sales through inside/outside sales and business development efforts
- Ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
2. Instruction and Coaching
Provide instruction for group classes as scheduled and in line with KickHouse Academy standards
- Write class plans within the KickHouse Academy scaffolding
- Lead semi-private training sessions or personal training sessions as needed

- Must arrive at a set time prior to the beginning of each scheduled class or private/semi-private session
3. Staffing & Development
- Provide consistent and constructive coaching, conducting planning sessions, and take personal accountability for the development of the Instructor team
- Foster a fun, inclusive, high energy environment where people feel supported and aligned to the right tasks
4. General Management
- Establish a fun, safe, healthy, and community-focused gym culture that delivers high member satisfaction and achieves maximum profitability with the support of department heads.
- Be a role model for member service behavior by walking through the gym and collecting member feedback to identify training and development opportunities for team members.
- Resolve elevated studio member concerns; conduct on-the-spot coaching to prevent them from reoccurring.
- Monitor gym appearance and ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner...
- Ensure company policies, procedures, programs, and promotions are efficiently executed. - Ensures safety of employees, members, and studio property.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Knowledge, skills & abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public. - Proficiency with computers and Studio software.
- Strong organizational skills and customer service orientation with proven results.
- Experience with basic computer skills like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Documents, and PowerPoint. Strong and proven leadership, communication, time management, and analytical abilities and skills.
2. Minimum certifications/educational level
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3. Minimum experience
- 1-3 years of progressive management experience supervising 3-10 employees.
- 2-4 years of sales or related experience.
