What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Baby Nanny position at Kid Care?
A bit about us:
We are busy, easy-going, fun parents working around the clock sometimes. You won’t see us much. We wish we could be with our daughter more! The job you are doing is important and special to our family. We will consider you part of our family. We are goofy, good-humored, and don’t take ourselves too seriously! We are not anxious, helicopter parents. We believe it’s healthy for our baby to have independent play with a nanny who is attentive to safety, but relaxed about activities and milestones.
Our 3-month-old is very affectionate and loves cuddles! She’s also testing out her impressive vocal range, and is quite the chatterbox! When she was in utero, we discovered that she loved moving to Aretha Franklin songs. She is very active and movement-oriented.
A bit about you:
You are compassionate, kind, and laid back. You’re attentive, but also give babies room to explore and learn independence. You adore babies and are a nurturing, loving person.
Job Duties:
Help our infant grow and explore the world safely in a less structured routine. Collaborate with parents while allowing their parenting style to be your guide. Teach her kindness with the example you set. Change diapers, bottle feed, assist with naptime, aid in her cognitive/motor/emotional development. Child-related cleaning and baby laundry, super simple dinner prep like chopping vegetables, loading the dishwasher, putting away groceries, and eventually doing baby-related cooking.
