Kids Academy is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic assistant educator. This person assists the lead teacher in planning and working with children to develop the skills needed for Kindergarten and beyond. The assistant must be flexible and comfortable working with all age groups. Responsibilities Include:
- Assist lead teacher and take an active role to design and implement play-based, Reggio-inspired curriculum for the classroom, using the training and resources provided for you.
- Build open and positive relationships with parents, children, coworkers, and management. Be a positive force in your work environment!
- Assist lead teacher to develop authentic assessment strategies for the children in your care, and maintain a portfolio for each child to document progress in multiple areas of development.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and joyful classroom environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
