What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Staff for Kids position at KidsPeace?
KidsPeace is looking for Direct Support Staff who have a heart for working with kids with emotional, behavioral, psychological issues stemming from trauma histories.
The only shift available at this time is middle/evenings 3pm to 11:30pm. (Day and Overnight shifts do exist, but are filled at this time)
This is an excellent entry level opportunity for those looking for a job where you have the opportunity to impart some positivity to kids while starting a career in the Health Care Industry.
Those with no relevant experience, but having excellent customer service skills may also do well in this role. We provide paid training on the skills you will need to work with our kids (patients).
Customer Service skills (being a people-person) sand athletics or sports coaching, health, and fitness are also skills that make a great candidate for this position!

To be considered for the position, all candidates must:
1. be at least 21 years of age or older
2. Have a High School Diploma or equivalent (College credits/Diplomas are also welcome)
3. have a valid driver's license
4. be able to work every other weekend.
5. be able to complete a paid corporate training for 2 weeks, Monday through Friday 9AM-5PM .
