******Unless specifically contracted, resumes from recruiting agencies are not being accepted for this position.****** We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the companies’ corporate organization and initiatives. Working in a hybrid model, based out of our Jericho office, this individual will support efforts as it relates to recruiting, corporate training initiatives and compliance reporting.
Responsibilities will include:
- Source, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding interview process
- Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance
- Maintain employee handbook and provide guidance
- Support the performance management process for assigned area of responsibility
- Participate in succession planning discussion and collaborate with employees and managers on professional development needs
- Develop / coordinate individual and group training programs that promote / support a high-performing work culture
- Participate in team assimilations and motivational programs
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years progressive experience in a corporate HR environment
- BS degree in Human Resources or related field
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite
- Commercial real estate experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working with a publicly traded company and/or affirmative action employer preferred
- Ability to travel as required
