About the team
Kinaxis is looking for a SharePoint Administrator to join our Enterprise Architecture team within Corporate IT. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Systems, the SharePoint Administrator will support the Company’s SharePoint Online environment with specific emphasis on building, supporting, and proactively maintaining the application. The successful candidate will research, implement, and integrate solutions. Proactive and detail oriented, the SharePoint Administrator will maintain the day-to-day operations and ensure the reliability and availability of the application.
What you will do
- Manage and support our SharePoint environment under strict change control and documentation processes.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) working with multiple SharePoint projects from site concept to development, and management.
- Define, document, implement and maintain SharePoint governance, policies, standards, practices, and procedures.
- Provide guidance, advice, and governance on the activation and use of SharePoint /O365-related capabilities.
- Participate in the analysis, design, documentation, deployment, and configuration of custom SharePoint solutions; manage the implementation of SharePoint updates and service packs.
- Participate in the design, development, maintenance, and end-user support for SharePoint sites, including libraries, lists, metadata, and workflows.
- Provide support to our Sharepoint site champions who are maintaining their departments content
- Be the Champion for Kinect (SPO Intranet) and the single point of contact within Corporate IT for SharePoint questions or concerns.
- Ensure appropriate levels of training related to SharePoint while striving for high levels of system intuitiveness and usability
- Analyze site usage trends and perform environmental checks and monitor performance.
- Identify and address areas that would benefit from design and performance improvement.
- Manage and address SharePoint Incidents, Service Requests, and Changes using ServiceNow.
- Monitor and maintain ticketing queues for the Enterprise Architecture team
- Work to maintain and exceed established SLAs.
- Collaborate with the Entreprise Architects and Azure SMEs.
What we are looking for
- BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience with SharePoint Administration in high-tech environment is an asset.
- 3 years of experience administering SharePoint Online.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications would be considered an asset.
- A vely solid understanding of the M365 environment such as SharePoint online, Microsoft Teams, Planner, Stream, Delve, Power Apps and Power Automate.
- ITIL V4 Foundation.
- Natural problem solver who enjoys identifying ways to make things better.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to executive staff, business sponsors and technical resources in clear concise language.
- Must have proven ability to realign priorities rapidly to meet evolving business requirements.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
