What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Childcare Provider position at Kindercare Learning Centers?
Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or home environment
- Ensure the well-being and physical safety of children at all times
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with toileting, diapering, and potty training as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress
- Manage behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a cohesive and supportive team environment
Skills:
- Previous experience in childcare, nannying, or babysitting roles
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to adapt to different personalities and learning styles
- Basic understanding of behavior management techniques
