Flooring Installer

King Carpet and Flooring is a small business in King of Prussia, PA. We are professional, agile and customer-centric. We are looking to bring multiple sub contracting installation crews. Must have your own vehicle, tools, are insured, and have an attention to detail. We specialize in carpet, LVT, VCT, Hardwood and sheet vinyl. Compensation is negotiable based upon experience.

```Duties```
- Install various types of flooring materials, such as carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the designated area
- Prepare the subfloor by cleaning, leveling, and removing any existing flooring or debris
- Install underlayment and moisture barriers as needed
- Lay out flooring patterns and ensure proper alignment and spacing
- Secure flooring materials using adhesives, nails, staples, or other appropriate methods
- Trim and finish flooring edges using appropriate tools and techniques
- Inspect completed work for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs

```Experience```
- Previous experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques
- Proficient in using power tools and equipment related to flooring installation
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics for accurate installation
- Ability to estimate material quantities and provide cost estimates for projects
- Basic carpentry skills for preparing subfloors and making necessary repairs
- Experience with fixture installation, construction painting, drywall, or restoration is a plus

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.05 - $20.88 per hour
