Sales Representative

At King of Freight, we pride ourselves on being a full-service brokerage and logistics firm. As one of the top freight brokerages in the United States, we ensure the drivers in our vetting system have all the proper qualifications to handle your freight. The very second your shipment is scheduled to begin loading, our team of dispatchers is monitoring it and ensuring everything is moving along as scheduled.

We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to boost our B2B sales. You need to be comfortable with outbound calling, connecting with customers to establish a relationship, and using customer relationship management (CRM) software. Our ideal candidate has an impressive track record of closing sales in a similar industry and excellent negotiation and communication skills. We prefer those who have a degree in a business-related field, but we are willing to consider applicants with extensive sales experience.

**The hours are 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break and 2 paid 15-minute breaks**

**Pay 17.50 an hour base pay, plus monthly commission ON TOP of base pay**

Inside Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities

• Source new leads (provided by our lead specialist)
• Follow up on leads to find new customers
• Use negotiation skills to close deals
• Communicate with existing customers about their needs
• Use CRM software to increase customer retention

Inside Sales Representative Requirements and Qualifications

• Sales experience; B2B sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Able to use CRM software such as Salesforce
• Excellent multitasking skills

Skills required for the position are

• familiarity with the Microsoft operating system and Outlook email

• cold calling skills

Pay:

• 70% of our sales force makes $100,000
• $17.50 an hour Plus 50/50 Commission
• Monday - Thursday, 7:30a - 4:30p. Friday 7:30a - 3:30pm NO WEEKENDS!
• All promotions are internal
