POSITION SUMMARY:
Independently oversee the daily operation of our King Ranch Saddle Shop location. Drive sales and profitability through excellent service, inventory control, and store operations. Build first class retail team that takes initiative, are team players, and live the King Ranch standards of excellence, authenticity, and integrity every day.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Promote and continuously exhibit positive culture among both immediate internal store team and all KRSS cross functional partners
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer experience to all guests of the Saddle Shop
- Be a King Ranch Brand mentor for all store team members by continuously coaching product knowledge, different active selling techniques, and overall KR brand heritage
- Execute promotion and marketing activities aligning with overall KRSS direction and standards
- Maintain and uphold merchandising and store presentation standards, ensuring the overall visual customer experience is aligned with the high-quality KR brand standards
- Plan, prepare, and manage employee work schedules and report store payroll weekly
- Supervise, train, and execute regular inventory cycle counts within location
- Actively manage replenishment of sales floor merchandise from internal backstock as well as prepare replenishment orders of merchandise from warehouse
- Ensure sales associates execute tasks and daily activities in accordance with store plan
- Ensure compliance of employees with established security, safety laws and procedures, King Ranch Inc. / KRSS Policies, and maintain a risk-free environment
- Communicate to appropriate cross functional partners as needed to mitigate negative customer feedback
- Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor
- Process cash register transactions accurately and efficiently
- Execute all duties required to open and close day of business
- Provide, accept, and adapt accordingly to ongoing recognition and constructive feedback
- Interview, hire and train employees
- Follow direction of supervisor
- Ability to work varied schedules
- Must be open to assist in all departments of the organization if asked
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
- Bachelor or associate degree in management preferred
- 2-5 years retail management preferred
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
- Requires a valid driver’s license
- Requires ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English
- Requires ability to interact effectively with co-workers
- Requires ability to understand and comply with posted rules and procedures
- Requires ability to accept and adapt with constructive criticism
- Requires ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Requires ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: (IF APPLICABLE)
- Supervise store personnel and operations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS (Lifting, Bending, Stretching, etc.)
- Requires the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds moving merchandise.
- Requires ability to stand on the retail floor for long periods.
- Requires ability to travel 10% of fiscal year

Salary : $44,700 - $56,700
