About the Company:
Our client is an innovative company that creates 100% natural ingredients for the food, beverage, and fragrance industries. This role is onsite at their Largo, FL location.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule product movements, optimizing inventory utilization, equipment availability, and qualitative and quantitative demand fulfillment.
- Coordinate product transfers between plants and propose blending schedules in collaboration with Quality, with a focus on managing stocks and meeting demand in terms of time, volume, and quantity.
- Manage and control the procurement of required raw materials and packaging supplies for products and by-products, including issuing purchase requisitions through the SAP system.
- Develop and implement a strategic operational plan, identifying improvement opportunities and working with relevant departments to ensure compliance with Operations and Quality standards and stock availability.
- Monitor and manage out-of-specification product stock, planning and validating action plans with responsible teams for product usage in the operational plan.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations and demand fulfillment in both plants, focusing on Blending, Packaging, Reprocessing, and Demand Fulfillment, with the goal of optimizing planning and exceeding performance targets.
- Prepare daily reports related to sales and operational plans to support actions established in monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
- Assist Commercial Managers and Customer Service with various customer-related demands, including creating purchase orders in SAP, managing offers, sales contracts, samples, logistics costs, product availability, and credit limit evaluations.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers, providing updates on events that may directly impact their demands.
- Schedule bookings with ship owners and freight forwarders for exports, oversee cargo boarding, and ensure timely customer order deliveries, as well as billing for services.
- Support the Purchase team by providing demand and planning information for hiring third-party road freight services, planning and operationalizing intercompany transfers, sales, and internal market distribution, and analyzing and providing relevant documents for these processes.
- Execute and manage customs clearance for oils and ingredients from other plants, ports, and terminals.
Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent work experience; graduate degree preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience.
- Experience in product control, planning, and data analysis.
- Experience in Foreign Trade and Logistics.
- Knowledge of SAP, PowerBI, Excel.
