Dematic has an immediate need for a Proposal Specialist to be based in one of the many U.S. offices located in the following states (Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas or Georgia).
This role is primarily responsible to manage all of our regional proposal boilerplate templates and occasionally support technical / contractual sales proposal efforts for our Business Solutions team.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $53,000 - $113,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications :
Manages the regional boilerplate content library, including revision control and new content execution.
Manages the automation software regional feature requests.
Produce best in class proposal boilerplate text and template automations, aligning with company standards.
Facilitates updating proposal content from subject matter experts and converts into template automations, aligning with company standards.
Ability to understand complex, technical information and communicate it with practical language.
Ability to follow procedures and apply standards, styles, and templates to ensure common documentation look and feel.
Adds appropriate tagging to build, test, and launch automation updates.
Liaison between regional Dematic team and Global Proposal Automation Administrator.
Work proactively in the continuous improvement of company proposal templates and proposal processes.
Member of the Change Control Board.
Produce formal and effective proposals as part of the Business Solutions team.
Coordinate, write and edit proposal content for adherence to technical, contractual and quality standards.
Integrate opportunity specific details from various business team authors into the proposal.
Flexibility when managing schedules, tasks, and requirements.
Function as a subject matter expert regarding technical and contractual proposal content and language.
What We are Looking For :
BS / BA in related discipline or advanced degree. Certification may be required in some areas.
Typically, two to five years of successful experience in proposal writing or in a related field and has successfully demonstrated the key responsibilities as presented above.
Experience in multi-facility, international organization and adept at working in diverse multi-cultural, fast-paced corporate environment successfully.
High degree of proficiency in MS Word (including editing, styles, and formatting), Office 365, Salesforce, and the ability to quickly learn new software.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both technical and non-technical.)
Knowledge of material handling systems (equipment and software) used in a manufacturing / warehouse environment helpful, but not required.
